During the first weeks on April 1945 were heavy battles in the "Oderbruch".
 In the vicinity of the city Wriezen was the 606.Inf.Div. prepared for a tough fight.
 The Russian Assault was leaded by the 47.Army and the 9.Grd.Pz.Corps.
 The 606.Inf.Div. could not hold the positions longer.
 Now it was the time for the Kampfgruppe "1001 Nacht".
 This KGr was under the command of the Ritterkreuztraeger Major Blanchois.
 He was one of the most successful commanders of the 12.PzDiv.
 His soldiers were the best trained with the most experience of all PzDiv
. With his Abt. "Suleika" and "Harem" he had to stop the russian tanks until the
 25.PzGrenDiv and the StuG-Lehr Brig. 111 will arrive.

Meine Herren, Herr Generalmajor Rosskopf, Guten Abend !

Situation:
Today the Russians have crossed the river Oder on many places and they have
 a lot of bridge heads.I guess that on the next morning, after an massive
 artillerieattack, they will move as fast as they can to the city Wriezen.
 You must stop them at all costs. You are the last stand. I think they will also
 be supported by a strong Air Force.

Enemy:
Our reconnaissance reports that you will face the 47. Army. They will be
 supported by the 165th Guards Heavy Tank Regiment and the 9th Guards
 Tank Corps. But we think that the Russians need more time for crossing
 the Oder with the tanks. 

Own Situation:
Herr Generalmajor, you will get additional reinforcements from the 9th Army.There are:
1. The SS Sicherungsbtl. IV
2. The SS Wachbt.1 "Kaschulla"
3. The I. Btl des Art. Regiments 25
4. The StuG Lehr Brig 111
5. The 382 schw. Flugabwehrbtl.
6. The schw. Pz-Abwehrbtl. 621

Further, the KGr "1001 Nacht" is comming to you to give you a good antitan
k Force. May I introduce you Mj. Blanchois he is also with us. His very well trained
 SS-Abt. "Sulaika" and "Harem" with their Hetzers and PaK will be your bes
t antitank part for a while. I Think that Mj. Blanchois will arrive in the late morning.
 If the Russians will come to close to Wriezen the 25th PzGren-Div of GL Burmeister
 has the order to meet you at Wriezen.He has also a good tank and antitank force.

Your mission:
Try to stop the Russians at the line of Neulewin and Altlewin. Hold the first
 positions as long as you can. But don't forget that your Volkssturm is a weak
 part against the russian Inf. but a deadly weappon agaist their tanks. So take
 your boys back and save them or give them a good support. I think that the
 Fuehrer will give you also some fighters for an close air support. Wriezen mus
t stay German, the Reichshauptstadt count on you.

Weather:
It will be cool,hazy and the ground will be soft.
