Brody-Dubno area, 40km SW of Rovno: Russia 28-June-1941 [Modified for Human play by P. Baker] The largest tank battle in history up until Operation Citadel took place in the early days of Barbarossa between the German First Panzer Group and 4 Soviet mechanized Corps in the south of Russia. After four days of fierce fighting involving over 1500 tanks, the Russians break off the engagement. The 2nd panzer Regiment, however, out for blood, pursues the battle-weary remnants of the Soviet 34th Tank Division. As the Panzers prepare to strike at first light the Russian Bear turns, still full of fight!
