16 May, 1943 An early Chindit action, this battle represents a Chindit effort to locate a Japanese artillery battery that is harassing the Chindit Supply line. Location is Burma in the outer edges of the foot-hills, weather is dry and ground conditions are good. Little is known about the strength of the Japanese forces in question, the Chindits have some air-support and heavy 3" mortar support. Question is, can the Chindits locate and take out the Artillery batteries without sustaining heavy casualties? Once the Chindits are discovered, it is only a matter of minutes before Japanese air support will arrive and mobile re-enforcement's will be on their way. The Chindits must find the Artillery sites and take them out as quickly as possible and then fade back into the country . This is a fictional scenario that was designed for the human player to take the side of the Chindits vs. the A.I./Japanese. I do beleave that it would also make a good two-player game if the Japanese player is aware that most of his forces start out in a fixed status.
