March 30, 1942 This is a re-inactment, of the Makin Island Raid. In 1944 Randolph Scott played Col. Carlson, the Film was called "Gung Ho".Carlson was in China studying team and guerilla tactics. "Gung Ho" means team work. The idea is to capture all the objectives and to go off the map to the east to gain points. If you are playing Human Versus Human the main points such as the Seaplane Ramp, the Radio Station, and some villages have blocks around them. Another objective for the marines is to remove these blocks. When playing Human Versus Human I suggest that you must remove them to win. Total destruction of the enemy and removing all you troops through the east side, simulates the escape to the submarines to leave the island . There are also 3 points to exit back to the subs . 1 to the Northwest , 1 to the Northeast, 1 to the Southeast. These are the locations for your escape. There are four Submarines to offer off board artillery. All the Japanese Forces are frozen from 3 to 10 turns. Good Luck
