On June 1944 British and Canadian troops tried to get Caen.For 
that battle it was very important to get and hold the "Hill 112" 
south-west of Caen. In the morning of June 22. the battle begun. 
Just a Bataillionof the II.SS PzK was there. They had a hard job 
to hold the positionbut there was no chance against all the tanks. 
After a short timeGruppenfuehrer Bittrich took his Pz Korps to get 
the hill back.Thatwas the time for the Tigers of the schw-SS PzAbt 
102 and the Panther of the 10. SS PzDiv. The Shermans felt the 
"Claw of the cats".
