With the onset of snow in Belgium and  plans for Operaton Market
Garden drawing nearer the Anglo-American commanders put together
a plan to drive out what forces remain in Belguim.  With all
air cover grounded due to worsening weather the allies plans
were to smash their way through using mass armour and infantry
in close support.  In an attempt to cease the bridgeheads arond
the town of Westerlo the allies gamble to drop a small number
of paratroopers to clear a way through for the armour and infantry.
 Hitler being informed by his intellegence of mass waves of armour
and infantry sweeping through Belgium towards the town of Westerlo,
he realises that the allies must not capture the town as his
forces would be cut in two. Hitler needing to stop the advance
puts together a new division to smash the allied force.....the
1st Armoured Anti-Tank Division.  The armoured allience commanders
were not expecting this!
